Getting Started

Welcome to Hidden Browser. This guide will help you get up and running quickly.

Quick Start Steps

  1. Install the Hidden Browser app using the download links below.
  2. Move the app into your Applications folder (Mac) or follow the installer (Windows).
  3. Sign up for an account or log in on the Hidden Browser website and subscribe.
  4. Open the app and log in with your account.
  5. Go to your favorite AI site and login with your account.
  6. Ask AI a few questions, specifying like which programming language to use. This helps AI to remember you preferences and provide answers in the same pattern for future questions.
  7. Start using your discreet AI powered hidden browser!

How to Use

Move the floating browser window

Press ⌘ + arrow keys on Mac or Ctrl + arrow keys on Windows

Toggle visibility

Press ⌘ + ' on Mac or Ctrl + ' on Windows to toggle visibility.

Close the application

Press ⌘ + Q on Mac or Ctrl + Q on Windows to quit the app completely, then restart it.

Toggle click-through mode

Press ⌘ + T on Mac or Ctrl + T on Windows to get in/out of click-through mode.

Take a screenshot and auto OCR to clipboard

Press ⌘ + ; on Mac or Ctrl + ; on Windows to OCR the screen and copy the text to clipboard, you can then paste it into your favorite AI to get answers.

Scroll up/down the content shown on the hidden browser window

Put your mouse cursor on the hidden browser window and use the mouse wheel to scroll up/down.Tip: leave your mouse cursor on the vertical scroll bar of the hidden browser window, so it will not change to hand shape..

Installation Instructions

For Mac Users:

If you see the error "Hidden_Browser.app is damaged and can't be opened", run this command in Terminal:

xattr -cr /Applications/Hidden_Browser.app

This removes Apple's license checking and allows the app to run.

For Windows Users:

It's easier to bypass the Microsoft's license checking. Just click "Install anyway" when prompted.

Test Invisibility

Want to verify that Hidden Browser is truly invisible to others? Follow these steps:

  1. Open Hidden Browser app on your computer
  2. Start a meeting using Zoom, Teams, or any other video conferencing software
  3. Share your screen with Hidden Browser window visible
  4. Join the meeting from another computer or device
  5. You'll see the presenter's screen, but the Hidden Browser window will be completely invisible!

This test proves that Hidden Browser is truly undetectable in screen sharing and recordings.
